Today I'm free writing about the weekend
In the weekend me and Herbert went to the rugby game with Mr Owen to watch Moerewa United play Eastern.Also the Moerewa Tigers were playing on the other field. We went to pick up Josh and took him to rugby, Mr Owen gave us $5 each Herbert took my money and brought some chips. We went back to the rugby field we got some chips and a drink from the lady. We started playing rugby league with LJ .When everything had finished me and Herbert went on the back of the truck and fell asleep, Mr Owen was looking all around for us.

How cool is Mr Owen!! Taking all you boys to a rugby game in the weekend. It sounds like you had a great day. Maybe you could try to add a little more description to your writing. You could describe the hot chips, what they felt like, what they smelt like, how they made you feel etc.
